Shrimp & Grits

Enjoy :)

  1. Cut bacon into small chunks and cook, remove from pan and keep the bacon grease.
  2. Add salt and pepper and bring the chicken stock to a boil.
  3. Add the grits and reduce heat as the grits cook.
  4. Stir until all the liquid is absorbed then remove from heat.
  5. Stir cheese and butter into the grits.
  6. Cook shrimp in bacon grease until pink.
  7. Add lemon juice, chopped bacon, parsley, scallions and garlic.
  8. Saute for 3 minutes.
  9. Add shrimp mixture to your bowl of grits and enjoy.
